Your holiday in the Puglia region will only be complete if it includes a boat trip to the Tremiti Islands archipelago.
By boarding from Vieste, just 4,5 km from our Village, you can reach these Pearls of the Mediterranean for a suggestive tour characterized by many natural marvels.
This island, considered the most interesting of the Tremiti from a historical point of view, hosts the Abbey – Fortress of Santa Maria a Mare, built by Benedictine monks at the beginning of the fifteenth century.
The largest of the three islands, and also the most populated: here you will find hotel structures and suggestive restaurants overlooking the sea! Along the coast of this particularly green island you will find many caves, which can be visited by boat or by swimming, as well as gorgeous coves, ideal for bathing!
Although the island is uninhabited, Caprara is probably the most beautiful of the Pearls of the Mediterranean.
Its suggestive landmarks include the architiello in the Punta Secca area, where the local lighthouse is located, and the statue of Padre Pio, which is the largest underwater sculpture in the world, located at a depth of 10 meters.
